Job Summary Uses a variety of hand/power tools to correctly assemble products.
Job Duties • Assemble assigned product parts in accordance with production guidelines • Ensure assembly materials and tools are available • Perform spot checks of products to ensure the standard of quality is maintained • Report problems with quality, equipment and material to supervisors • Maintain an organized work area • May coordinate job assignments when necessary • May operate powered industrial equipment • Complete all documents fully and accurately • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.) • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures • Perform other duties as assigned Experience and Education • Perform work under general supervision • Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff • Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter • 2 to 4 years of experience • Provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to subordinate group when needed Competencies/ Skills • Ability to interpret work instructions • Ability to follow written and verbal directions • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills • Manual dexterity • Leadership skills EOE-Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran Various agencies of the United States Government require employers to maintain information on applicants pertaining to factors such as race, sex, and type of position for which an individual applies.
