Responsibilities:
- Drive AV projects and offer suggestions for project procurement.
- Provide knowledgeable guidance on project plans and layouts.
- Assist in the purchase of AV hardware and software, making sure that the needs of the project are met.
- Project schedules should be planned, maintained, and followed, with intervention as needed.
- Equipment storage and transportation should also be managed
- At customer's location, carry out rack and stack, onsite installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and repair of AV equipment, networking, and other internal tasks.
- Complete electrical wiring, trunking, programming, and simple installations in construction (may need a ladder).
- Control, test, and put into operation all required devices, including Bluetooth, CCTV, and door entry systems.
- Ensure that testing, configuration, staging, and upgrades for assigned projects are finished on time.
- Communicate with clients to determine their needs.
- Before events, perform quality control analysis.
- Hardware and software problems can be identified and fixed as needed.
- Attend to service requests for equipment failures.
- At the end-users' location, offer on-site assistance and user training.
- Ensure that user manuals and other forms of documentation are produced and updated.
- Contact the finance department again to discuss costs and billing.
