Our client, located in Clairmont, is looking for a Dispatcher to join their growing and busy company. As a trucking dispatcher, you will be working closely and continuously with management and drivers.
Key responsibilities include:
· Coordinate all aspects of fluid movement
· Organize equipment and drivers
· Handle all incoming calls to dispatch using professional telephone etiquette
· Record hauling requirements from customers
· Provide timely support and information to company drivers, sub-contractors and owner operators, including instructions to lease locations.
· Coordinate with Field Supervisors to ensure drivers are operating in a professional manner and following S.O.P’s
· Coordinate with Ops Managers, as necessary, to ensure field issues are rectified and customers and operators satisfied.
· To ensure that methanol is supervised while on and offloaded in the yard.
· Work with maintenance staff to make sure truck maintenance is prioritized.
· Audit field tickets and enter into Axon.
· Issue PO’s when required.
· Make sure field staff hand in paperwork in a timely manner.
· Checking / monitoring weight and time bands.
· Attention to detail and diligent gathering of information for specialized job (use cheat sheet as guidance).
· Maintain honest communication with drivers.
