LegiStorm LLC is seeking a full-time, remote political data researcher with superb online investigative talent who can solve our toughest 3-pipe research problems.
As a key member of our content team, you will become an expert on congressional, political and lobbying data and be responsible for noticing and connecting the smallest of details.
You must have:
- Exceptional internet research skills and the ability to use search engines to their fullest.
- An eye for detail and the ability to recognize irregularities
- Strong logical-reasoning skills and an understanding of complex situations
- A skeptical attitude towards data, questioning it and seeking out potential issues
- An enterprising work ethic and the ability to work independently
- The ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment
- Strong writing skills (preferred) with opportunity to use those skills if desired
- General political awareness
- A quiet, professional work space with a reliable internet connection and (ideally) at least two external monitors.
- A minimum of two years of work experience
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
