Position title: Operations Manager (Edmonton)
PlantForever is a non-profit organization in Edmonton. We plant trees in cities to mitigate the climate crisis. We are recruiting for an Operations Manager that will manage tree-planting events. This is a fantastic opportunity to capture management experience at a nonprofit!
It is a part-time volunteer position (as with all positions on our team) that is oriented towards the summer. It has an approximate weekly commitment of 1-6 hours during the summer and 0-1 during the winter.

Please note that this position requires a valid driver's license and a vehicle to transport trees and volunteers. Candidates must also be located in Edmonton.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the VP Operations and other Operations Managers to coordinate transplanting events, where trees are moved into pots
- Collaborate with the VP Operations and other Operations Managers to organize tree-planting events: confirming times/order with homeowners, planning the event, executing the event, and leading volunteers
- Lead volunteers
- Collaborate with the executive team
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 1-6 per week
Salary: $1.00 per year
